i’m at a place called vertigo

I’m one week into the Meditation Fixation, and so far so good. It’s getting slightly easier to concentrate, although my legs still fall asleep every time.

It’s really interesting to just watch your thoughts but try not to get caught up in them. You have to just see them, then let them go. Meditation isn’t about stopping thoughts from happening. It’s more like having a TV on in the background. Images are on the screen, but you’re not paying attention to it. You focus on something else. In the beginning that something else is your breath.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

PS – The post title has nothing to do with anything, except that I’ve had that song in my head all day.
